Primary Four had a swashbuckling time at Pirate School today, celebrating International Talk Like a Pirate Day.
Everyone looked shipshape as they arrived for a day of pirate fun.
The girls and boys worked out their pirate names, before learning to speak like pirates. They even worked with a partner to role play a pirate conversation.
Pirate maths came next with a bit of data handling, making block graphs to represent all the pirate booty. There was plenty of sea shanty singing and wonderful stories shared.
Children rounded off a great day by following instructions to make their own pirate hats. Yo ho ho!
