We have been learning about procedural writing in Primary Two. This morning we were tasked to make our own fruit salad. We talked about the steps involved and the importance of completing the steps in a particular order. We are learning about ‘bossy doing words’ that help us to make a good set of instructions. Once we’d finished making the fruit salad, we ate it of course! Someone declared it was the ‘best fruit salad ever’ …. so that’s what we’ve named it! Oh…. And then we had to write a set of instructions! So if you need the recipe, I’ve included a few examples of our work below!??
