Primary 7 Residential to YMCA Greenhill
Our Primary 7 pupils recently returned from their residential trip to YMCA Greenhill. It was a very enjoyable experience, with the children fully immersing themselves in a wide range of outdoor challenges.
Throughout the trip, the pupils participated in several activities designed to build teamwork and confidence, including archery, orienteering, paddle boarding, zip lining and abseiling.
While the weather forecast didn’t initially look too promising, fortunately, the rain held off and it remained mostly dry for the duration of our activities.
While it’s fair to say very little sleeping was done, the children returned home safely, thoroughly tired but having had a wonderful day of adventure and camaraderie.
Thank you to the instructors at Greenhill for their hospitality, and and to Mr McGahon and Miss McConville who accompanied us.
Well done also to the P7’s for their excellent participation and efforts to encourage each other to try out new experiences. I hope you have created some wonderful memories together before you depart for your next adventure at your new schools.
