This week, as part of our World Around Us topic ‘The Vikings’, Primary 6 were exploring the role of an archaeologist. We discussed their important job and what their findings can tell us about the lifestyle of people who lived long ago. Then we wanted to investigate, ‘Can an archaeologist work out how tall someone is by the size of the their feet?’. We used measuring tapes and worked in groups to look for a connection between the length of our feet and how tall we are. What we discovered was very interesting indeed. Well done Primary 6!
