Primary 5 have carried out a number of different practical lessons this week.
In numeracy, we used cubes to calculate area using cm and 1/2 cm measurements.
We then moved on to using water and measuring apparatus to learn the correct vocabulary when working with volume and capacity.
Our WAU lesson this week focused on rations during WW2 and how children managed to create a sweet treat with limited ingredients. You can see the parsnip and sugar sandwiches were not very popular!
