Last week, the primary five class had a lovely trip to Newcastle Library. The staff here read us a lovely story about how libraries started and the importance reading holds in our lives. The children were also asked to look up their favourite author and find a non-fiction book that interested them. It was a great opportunity to remind the children how libraries are organised and see the variety of book stored here.
