Primary Four children had a great time today in Portaferry.
They got on the ferry in Strangford and headed straight up to the top deck to keep an eye out for dolphins. After a quick snack down by the shore, they went for a woodland walk before arriving at Exploris Aquarium.
Blair, the aquarium guide, showed the boys and girls around and told them lots of interesting facts about the marine creatures. They also saw reptiles and capybaras.
Blair ran a workshop in the interactive classroom, focusing on SHARKS! It was great fun.
After a quick lunch break outside beside the capybaras, it was time to get the ferry back to Strangford to meet the bus.
It was a quiet bus ride back to school because everyone was exhausted from their fun packed day!
