Girls and boys have been learning about poetry in Primary Four. They have been looking at rhyme pattern and using rhythm to help with reading and performing poetry. Pupils wrote their own pirate rhymes to make our pirate poem even better.
There was lots of excitement in our classroom during this lesson because a fly landed on our board and started to leave a trail. It reminded us of “The Snail and the Whale” by Julia Donaldson. The boys and girls thought that the fly was making a treasure map for us!
