Our Class Kennings
Primary 3 were working hard in literacy, creating their own Kennings poems.
A Kenning poem describes a subject using a series of two-word, hyphenated phrases (kennings) that act as riddles, hinting at the object without naming it, like "whale-road" for sea or "bone-house" for body, originating from Old Norse and Anglo-Saxon poetry but used today for creative description and guessing games.
