As part of our “Healthy, Happy Hearts” theme, a special visitor, Nurse Hunter, came to talk to Reception Class about her important role in helping people stay well and feel their best. She showed the children some of the equipment nurses and doctors use, such as stethoscopes and thermometers. The children were fascinated and loved having the chance to ask questions and try some of the tools. Following the visit, the children enjoyed building on their learning through lots of imaginative role play.
