Yesterday, we welcomed Father Jim to St. Joseph’s Primary School, Carnacaville, as our whole school community gathered for a special retirement Mass to honour and celebrate our Principal, Mr. McCann.
After 15 years of dedicated leadership, Mr. McCann is retiring at the end of this school year, leaving behind a profound legacy that has shaped our school community.

It was incredibly special to mark this momentous occasion together. We were delighted to be joined by Father Jim, our staff, pupils, the Board of Governors, the Parent Support Group, and Mr. McCann’s own family. The entire morning was a true reflection of the immense respect, gratitude, and high regard in which Mr. McCann is held.
