Primary 5 had a visit from an author called Garry Mc Elherron from Newry. He talked to the children about his book 'Mourne Quest' and the characters in the story. Garry showed the class drawings of some of the characters. His book 'Mourne Quest' and the characters are part of the Hallowtides celebrations in Newcastle at Hallowe'en. We had a very enjoyable time with Garry in the classroom and we are now starting to write some scary Hallowe'en stories for Garry to read.
