Bhí lá iontach againn ar an Aoine seo caite. Bhí muid ag ceiliúradh Lá Fhéile Pádraig ar scoil. Bhí tionól againn agus rinne achan rang rud éigin spéisialta. Bhí amhráin agus dánta againn. Rinne neart páistí rud éigin leo féin - bhí damhsóirí agus ceoltóirí ar an ardán. Bhí siad uilig thar barr. Bhí maidin ar dóigh againn agus tá bua an spéisialta ag ar bpáistí i gCarnacaville - bhí siad do-chreidte. Maith siad uilig.
We had a wonderful morning last Friday celebrating St. Patrick's Day. We had our Green Day Assembly and all the children took part. Every class performed one piece - we had songs and poems. Some in Irish and some in English - we were so impressed! Some of our children also took to the stage by themselves and we were awed by their performances. We had Irish dancers (right from Reception to P7) and some wonderful traditional musicians. Our students in Carnacaville are super talented and we were delighted to spend a morning being entertained by them. Well done to everyone!
