Today was an exciting day for Primary 5 as the local fire service came to visit our school! The firefighters arrived in their bright red fire engine and gave a short talk about fire safety, the importance of their job, and how we can all stay safe.
But the real highlight of the day? Every single child in P5 got the chance to use the fire hose! With help from the firefighters, the children aimed the powerful stream of water at a target, learning how to control the hose just like a real firefighter. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and even a few soaked shoes!
It was a fun and unforgettable experience, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to the fire service for giving us a day to remember!
