Collecting items for Road of Hope
The Shoebox Appeal will still be going ahead this year but in a different fashion, as with many things in our lives.
This year, we plan to collect individual items. The school will send these items off to Road of Hope Charity and they will sort the items into shoeboxes. The list of items that are required this year are as follows:
General
- Soap
- Toothpaste (no toothbrushes)
- Shampoo
Elderly
- Deodorant
- Vaseline
- Sudocrem
- Thermal Tights
- Socks
- Underwear
- Tea Towels
- Mirror
- Handkerchiefs
Children
- Playdough
- Small Soft Toys
- Bouncy Balls
- Children’s Jewellery
- Farm Animals
There will be a container left at the front gate each morning, we ask that parents / children drop off their item(s) into the container. This should create a touch free zone to keep us all safe.
The container will be at the main entrance gate for approximately 2 weeks commencing next Tuesday, 13th October. Road of Hope will collect all items on Thursday 22nd October.
There is an option to donate online via the Road of Hope website if you wish: http://www.roadofhope.org.uk/
As a school, we are very grateful for your support and we know that the charity, Road of Hope, are extremely thankful too.
