On Wednesday 14th January, our Primary 6 and 7 hurlers took part in an indoor hurling blitz at Lecale Trinity, Downpatrick.
The children competed against six other schools and delivered an excellent performance throughout the day. They worked well as a team, demonstrating great skill, determination and tactical awareness. The team narrowly missed out on a place in the next round, but their effort and sportsmanship was impressive.
This was a particularly notable achievement as it was only the third time hurling has been competed in at school level, making the performance even more commendable.
