Reception class have been learning about the Life Cycle of the Butterfly. We’ve watched the entire transformation from caterpillar to adult butterfly take place in our class Butterfly Garden. We raised and fed five caterpillars and then released them into the wild! We read stories about the caterpillar to butterfly process and enjoyed doing lots of fun arts and craft activities to illustrate the story.
Just as our caterpillars changed into chrysalides and then emerged as beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies, we too are growing and finding our wings every day. As the children in Reception Class prepare for their transition to Primary One, we thank God for what has been and look forward to the changes that are to come, secure in the knowledge that they will keep growing, keep transforming and keep soaring.🦋
