Assembly 13.05.26
Primary 4 have been preparing for their Sacrament of Holy Communion over the last number of weeks. This week, we all had the pleasure of being the first to hear their sacrament prayers and hymns. They have been working really hard with their preparation and we have no doubt they will have a fantastic day on Friday.
It was announced that during Lent, the overall total raised for Trócaire was £942. Well done to all our classes, particularly Primary 7 who worked hard to raise money through their Easter raffle. We are very proud to be able to raise money for a wonderful cause.
All the children looked wonderful in their hats and shades today! We talked about protecting ourselves in the sun and why this is important.
This week we welcomed two new members of staff. A very warm welcome to Mrs Johnston and Ms Brannigan.
We also celebrated a soccer achievement. Freya and Fia From Primary 7 took part in Downpatrick Youth Football League for Newcastle Town U13s. They were 2026 cup winners and the girls proudly displayed their medals. Well done!
We had many stars and pupils of the week. Well done! You all work so hard and are so dedicated. Congratulations!
We also had 5 birthdays to celebrate this week - happy birthday to Eoin in P1, Olly in P4 and Leonie and Laura in P6!
