To mark Anti-Bullying week we had our annual Odd Socks Day. A day to celebrate everyone’s differences and individuality. The theme of Anti-Bullying week this year is ‘Power for Good’. We remembered the importance of being ourselves and the importance of being a good friend - two very important messages.
Ríoghnach in P2 took part in a gymnastics competition with SOKOL and she came in jingling. She had many medals to show us. Congratulations, Ríoghnach.
Holly in P7 plays for Castlewellan soccer team. She attended a recent u13 competition in Crossgar, where they won the competition. Well done, Holly.
Cillian in P6 went to a swimming competition in Bangor last weekend. He won 3 gold medals and 1 silver medal. What an outstanding achievement, Cillian.
Fionn Hardy, our Halloween Art Competition winner, received his trophy and a £50 gift voucher. Congratulations, Fionn.
As always, we celebrated our Stars of the week. Well done to everyone for all your hard work!
Lastly, we had 2 birthdays this week. A huge happy birthday to you both!
