Sophia Barr was at an Irish dancing feis in Ballycastle, where she came home with three medals. Maria Barr also took part in a duathlon, where she ran and cycled. Well done to both sisters, excelling in both their hobbies.
Matthew Murphy, Grace Neeson, Norah Malone, Erin Rowe, Aoibheann Kelly, Annabel Rafferty- Gracey, Noah Parker, Oisin Nugent, Clara Fitzpatrick, Denise Kelly, Lucy Russell, Cadhla McNulty and Cara McAlinden recently took part in a Speech and Drama competition. There were many winners in poetry, drama and musical theatre. Congratulations to all, and well done for taking part and showing off your talents.
Daniel Gribben, Lewis Gribben, Ciaran Murray and Ryan Rafferty won a soccer final over the Easter break. A nail biting 1-0 win, with Daniel scoring the winning goal. Congratulations boys, a great achievement, winning your second final two years in a row.
Cora in P7 was in the final playing ladies football for Newcastle, and they also won the league this year. Congratulations, Cora!
Rose Malone has won TWO Blue Peter badges!!! One for music and one for reading, designed by Quentin Blake and Ed Sheeran. Well done, Rose. What fabulous keepsakes to have.
Amelia Malone also played in Croke Park at the weekend, representing Leitrim camogie team. What an incredible experience to have! It has indeed been a big week for the Malone sisters!!
