Assembly 05.11.25
We had a lot to celebrate today.
Over the Halloween break, a number of pupils took part in the Ulster Irish Dancing Championship. Erin, Sophia, Cara, Cadhla and Ayla from P5 brought in their medals and told us all about their achievements. Well done, girls! We love to see you expressing your Irish culture.
Rose, Amelia and Annabel from P7 and Maya from P5 went to Manchester over the Halloween break to take part in gymnastics competitions with SOKOL. They had a lot of silverware to show, which showcases their amazing talent in a big pool of competitors. What an amazing achievement girls! Congratulations.
The St.Patrick’s centre in Downpatrick held a Halloween art competition. The whole school entered this and we had some winners among us:
KS1 runner up in P4 - Donnach
KS2 runner up in P7 - Willow.
Fionn Hardy in P4 won third overall in the KS1 competition.
Congratulations to you all!
Cara in P4 also brought in some artwork she completed over the break. Well done, Cara.
As always, we celebrated our Pupils and Stars of the week. Well done to everyone for all your hard work!
Lastly, we had 9 birthdays this week. A huge happy birthday to you all!
