St Josephs Primary School Carnacavill

Assembly 03.06.26

3rd Jun 2026

Dream space ambassadors from Primary 5, 6 and 7 were invited to a graduation day at W5. They took part in a number of fun activities on the day and they were awarded the highest achievement possible which is the Platinum Award. They represented the school fantastically and had a wonderful day. Well done to you all!

Our school footballers attended the semi final of the School County Final. The girls narrowly missed out on making it to the final and the boys made it through to the final stage of the competition. Congratulations to the girls for getting so far in the tournament and good luck to the boys next week.

We had another week of fantastic achievements outside of school to acknowledge. It’s wonderful to see so much diversity in our school.

Senan from Primary 2 talked to us about achievements through his participation at Beavers. Senan displayed his woggle and scarf. Great work!

Debbie in Primary 2 presented her star from Irish dancing class. Ayla, Cara and Erin from Primary 5 also talked about their participation in a recent Feis. They displayed their medals that they won on the day. Well done!

Emily from Primary 2 showed us her medal and certificate from gymnastics. Emily performed her first cartwheel! Amazing!

We had lots of children from Primary 2 right through to Primary 7 who attended a recent presentation with Newcastle FC. Many of the children were awarded on the night and they should all be proud of their dedication and sportsmanship throughout the football season.

We had many stars and pupils of the week. Well done! You all work so hard and are so dedicated. Congratulations!

Birthdays this week include,

Mila and Alice from Primary 1

Clea from Primary 3

Phoebe and Denise from Primary 7 were on a school trip and missed out on taking part in the photograph. Happy birthday to you all!
