Our Primary 7 pupils took a well-deserved break from rehearsals for their end of year show to visit Downpatrick Racecourse - and what a brilliant day it was!
Thankfully, the unpredictable weather was on our side and we managed to avoid any major downpours.
The children learned all about the amount of hard work, dedication and care that goes into keeping the horses healthy, happy and in peak condition.
We also got a fascinating insight into the collective effort required to maintain the grounds and track, and to keep everything running smoothly.
We want to say a massive thank you to the staff at Downpatrick Racecourse for welcoming us so warmly and delivering such an engaging and fun day out.
