This week, we were delighted to welcome back to school, Niamh Lowry. Niamh recently returned from a tennis tournament in the Netherlands where she represented Team Ireland. She had an amazing week in the Netherlands, competing against some of the top players from 34 countries worldwide. It was no doubt a busy week for Niamh and she had a hectic schedule. Each morning, she had to wake at 6 am as she had to be on the training court before matches at 7 am. Niamh performed brilliantly throughout the week, winning 4 out of the 7 matches she played. This was truly an incredible achievement, given the level of competition. This resulted in her finishing in 10th place (from 32) in her age group and 13th (from 32) in the age group above which she also played. All the children in Primary 7 and in St. Joseph's are incredibly proud of Niamh and her wonderful achievements. Congratulations Niamh and welcome back!
